To facilitate building a network of knowledgeable supporters of the Shanghai Museum, The American Friends of the Shanghai Museum offers a special membership to professional colleagues in academia, among museum departmental curators and other related institutions, who focus on Chinese Art and Art History.

To energize the programs and reach out for support fo the American Friends of the Shanghai Museum, we offer a special membership to Members under 40 who share our interest in building long term relations with the Shanghai Museum and the support needed to make worthy contributions in support of that relationship.

These members will receive:

• An AFSM membership card entitling them to free admission to the Shanghai Museum.
• Invitations to attend receptions and special lectures by visiting Chinese curators and Art History specialists, organized by the leadership of Professional & Young Members Program, and sponsored in the United States by the American Friends.
• Invitations to attend additional programs sponsored in the United States by the American Friends.
• A complimentary publication, when available.
